In this guide, you'll find common questions and answers about the Ascend R-300 Foldable Wooden Water Rower.
FAQ
What are the specifications of the Ascend R-300 Foldable Wooden Water Rower?
You can find all the specifications and measurements of this product on its specifications article.
Can you store the R-300 with water still inside?
Yes of course! Leaving water inside will not affect the rower in any way.
How often should I change the water in my R-300?
For optimal performance and hygiene, it's generally recommended to change the water in a water rower every 4-6 months. However, this can vary depending on factors such as frequency of use, water quality, and maintenance practices. Regularly inspecting the water for any signs of contamination or deterioration can help determine if it needs changing sooner.
Please note that if you use cleaning tablets, the water does not need to be changed as often.
How should I use the purification tablets for my R-300?
You only need to use 1 tablet every 2 months if the unit is exposed to the sun (near a window). However, if the rower is in a dark place like a garage or basement, then you only need to use 1 every 6 months.
Please note that you should only use purification tablets specifically made for rowing machines.
*Never use cleaning products for a pool or a spa, as the chemical concentration will damage your product.
Can you adjust the resistance on the R-300?
The R-300 works with water resistance so adding more or less water will increase and decrease the resistance. There are 6 levels on the reservoir to keep track and measure the quantity of water you need.
If you are looking to change resistance levels throughout a workout session, the R-100 and R-200 models might be a better fit as those units have a knob to adjust the resistance levels. On the other hand, the R-300 is perfect for those who prefer a relaxing experience with the water sound effect and are not concerned with regularly changing resistance levels.
All three units (R-100, R-200, R-300) will feel like there is more resistance the faster you pull and the longer you use the machine.
