Does my S2 bike need to be plugged in to function?

The S2 magnetic bike needs to be plugged into function. Without being plugged in, the screen and resistance will not work. You will have a power cord that must be plugged into the rear of the bike, between the stabilizer legs. 

*Please note that you should always avoid extension cords, and plug the bike directly into a wall outlet.

Our S1 Friction bike does not require to be plugged in to function. The manual resistance and the batteries in the monitor will function without a power source.
