What is the difference between the treadmills?
The main differences between our walking pad and treadmills can be seen below:
-
Can I use my treadmill on a carpet or carpeted floors?
We generally do not recommend using a treadmill on carpet for several reasons.
- Stability: Treadmills require a stable surface to operate safely. Carpets, especially plush or thick ones, may not provide the necessary stability, leading to potential wobbling or unevenness during use.
- Wear and Tear: Carpets can wear down more quickly under the weight and friction of a treadmill. This can result in uneven surfaces over time, which may pose a tripping hazard or affect the treadmill's performance.
- Maintenance: Carpets can trap dust, debris, and moisture, which may affect the treadmill's mechanical components over time. Additionally, cleaning under and around the treadmill becomes more challenging when it's placed on carpet.
For optimal performance, safety, and longevity of your treadmill, we recommend placing it on a hard, flat surface such as hardwood, laminate, or rubber gym flooring. If you do not have access to such a surface, consider using a treadmill mat specifically designed to protect both your flooring and the treadmill itself.
-
Can my treadmill be stored vertically?
We do not recommend storing your X1 treadmill or walking pad vertically as it can slip and fall causing damage to the treadmill. We recommend folding the treadmill down and storing horizontally. From here you can place the unit under a couch or bed with ease.
The only model that can support being stored vertically is our X2 treadmill. This is because it has small rubber feet in the front so it can in fact be stored vertically with peace of mind!

How to maintain your treadmill
Please refer to the following maintenance guidelines:
DAILY MAINTENANCE
After each use, wipe down the treadmill to remove sweat and dust. Use a soft cloth dampened with water or soft cleaning products.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
Regularly check the treadmill belt for signs of wear, such as fraying, unevenness, or any damage. If you notice any issues, please let us know.
MONTHLY MAINTENANCE OR AFTER 20 HOURS OF USE
Lubrication: The treadmill belt requires regular lubrication to ensure smooth operation and reduce
friction. Apply a layer beneath the belt with the application tube. This not only prolongs the life of the belt but also ensures
efficient motor performance.*Please find attached the step by step instructions for belt lubrication.
Vacuum Inside: Unscrew gently remove the motor cap and vacuum inside the treadmill to remove
any accumulated dust or debris. Be cautious around wires and components to avoid damage.Hardware Check: Regularly inspect all screws, bolts, and other hardware components. Over time,
these can become loose due to the treadmill's vibrations. Tighten any components that feel loose
to ensure the treadmill's stability and safety.Belt Tension: The treadmill belt should have a slight give when pressed but should not be too loose.
Check its tension by pressing down in the center of the belt. If it feels too slack or too tight, the belt has to be adjusted.Belt Alignment: Over time, the treadmill belt might drift to one side. Ensure it's centered and
aligned. If you notice the belt drifting during workouts, stop the machine immediately and follow
the user manual's guidelines for realignment. Proper alignment ensures even wear and reduces
strain on the motor.*Please find attached the step by step instructions on belt alignment.
